100 Things To Do in HTX - An Ever-Growing List

The ever-growing list of places worth the outfit, the drive… and yeah, maybe circling for parking. No gatekeeping (because gatekeeping is for losers), all welcome. 

So, I moved to Houston last June… and it still feels like I’m dating the city—learning new things, finding hidden gems, and constantly pretending I know where I’m going.

Every week I’m trying a new spot, missing an exit, and absolutely refusing to parallel park—so if the location requires it, just know I kept driving. If you're new here too—or you've been here and still only rotate the same three brunch places—this list is for you.

This is not some dry tourist guide. These are spots I’ve either pulled up to myself or had aggressively recommended by people who don’t play about good food, fun, and energy. We’re talking Black-owned bangers, patios with an actual breeze (a luxury), and brunches where the DJ knows what type of time we on.

So whether you're hungry, trying to be outside without melting, or just looking for somewhere cute to catch up with your crew—I got you.
